What we do
Our objectives
1. Promote, coordinate and execute actions, projects and programmes linked to the development of skills of children, adolescents and young people in vulnerable situations, including children with disabilities;
- Educate children and adolescents, young people for future and dignified work, involving creative, productive and participatory leisure;
- Support and encourage the preservation of social, positive cultural values, through the creation, production and execution of programmes. or other dissemination vehicles, suitable for the dissemination of these technical and cultural skills;
- Create activities that promote the development of skills on information and communication technologies, arts, sewing, cooking, music, aimed at children, adolescents and young people from disadvantaged communities;
- Create educational activities aimed at training children, adolescents and young people in know-how, including life skills;
6. Offer technical and professional training courses to adolescents and young people;
- Conduct lectures for family members of the assisted groups, aiming to guide them on relevant topics.
The Mar&Tone Foundation hopes to support adolescents and young people every year with multiple technical-professional skills, including information technology, creative sewing, cooking, music, photography, videography and aesthetics. Such skills also include life skills and positive behaviours , as dignified citizens, and the potential for decent work, thus exercising their basic rights.
All together we can act to transform the situation of our children, adolescents and young people in Mozambique. We count on the collaboration of all partners, government, civil society, communities, young people and adolescents, the private sector and development partners who can support and contribute to improving the living conditions of Mozambican children, adolescents and young people.
